On Saturday, April 1st, the Active Chapter will be doing the first half of their annual 2 part philanthropy event.

What to Expect

The Active Chapter student spends the morning with nurserymen at Bigelow Nurseries, learning the ins and outs of tree production in containers. In exchange for their hard work, the students return to campus with trees they donate to the University. The students plant and maintain the trees and eventually establish an “ATG arboretum” on campus.

For Alumni - Please Join Us!

We would love to see alumni join the students in this philanthropy event. It’s an excellent opportunity to connect with the next generation, give back to the community, and learn where and how your trees are produced!

Coffee and donuts will be served for breakfast and pizza for lunch!
