The Crockett Victory Garden - Elm Bank Wellesley, MA

The Board of Directors of the Victory Garden Foundation are inviting you to the Spring Crockett Garden Clean Up.  The Alumni and Active Chapter members are planning on sprucing up the Victory Garden located at the Elm Bank  in Wellesley, MA.  Ed Loughran '87 and Dave Anderson '93 walked the grounds and came up with a plan.

Victory Garden

  • Edge and grade garden bed
  • Plant perennials and shrubs
  • Relocate 2 benches
  • Light pruning of sucker growth
  • Mulch

Elm Bank Grounds

  • Irrigation - bury and pin irrigation lines
  • Edge & mulch 6-8 circular tree beds

Vegetable Garden

  • General clean up
  • Removal of landscape weed fabric
  • Remove excessive mulch

Material and Tools Needed: (Add to registration form)

  • Hand tools
  • Pruning snips
  • Shovels
  • Rakes
  • Edgers 
  • Irrigation pins 
  • Cobblestones 30-40 jumbos
  • Leaf blowers - 2
  • Tarps 2-3
  • Wheelbarrows 4-6
  • Mulch 5-7 yards premium bark mulch
